
A referee who wanted to kick on a player was banned for six months, of which half had been suspended.
Tony Chapron fell on the ground when his heel was cut off - apparently crashing - Nintendo's Diego Carlos during a league match last month
The 45-year-old Chaproon got him out of the player, then booked him for the second time.
The referee - who was suspended after the game - was convicted by the French League Disciplinary Committee on Thursday.
The booking of the corporation was canceled on Chhapraon's request.
Since 2004, Chaprane has been refereed in the top flight of France and at that time more than 400 matches have been taken - including the 2014 French Cup final.
Before this incident, he had announced that it would be his last session as a referee.
