WhatsApp Group Description feature may soon be available for Android, Windows phone users.

It looks like whatsapps never want to shut down soon. The Facebook-owned messaging app is now testing another feature for group testing of Android and Windows users.


 This feature, as the name suggests, will add a description to the users in their respective groups, as we are all doing in our personal profile with this time. This feature is currently viewed on WhatsApp and Beta for Android and Windows and it is expected that this facility will start soon.




Although there is no official word on the deadline for the feature launch, if interested, you can still access yourself by entering it as a beta user. Visit the Google Play Store and download WhatsApp on your Android or Windows Phone. The mentioned group description is currently available to beta users and already allows them to describe or change a specific group.



This feature is live for WhatsApp Beta version 2.18.57 and for Windows Beta version 2.18.28 for WhatsApp. Therefore, if you are a beta user, you can update your current version of the app in the mentioned version to gain access to the group's details feature.




After updating the app, you can select any of your Whitspace Groups directly and head over to the "About" section of the group. When you click on the group name to go to the "About" section, you will be able to see a new option to add group details.



 The group description is similar to the way you add details to your personal profile. Whatever you want to add to the group, you can just enter it.It is noteworthy that, as any group in the group can change or delete the profile picture, there are also cases of new group description feature, all members of the group can change, edit or delete group details Are there.

 
As the group profile picture needs to be changed, the Whotsap sends information to all the members of the group that this picture has been replaced with a member of the group who has changed it. This is the case with the group details. For example, if a person removes a change, edit or group description, then the Whitsap Group will send all members within the group for the details of the details and information about the change of that person.




If you are a beta user, you can change group details, however, it is worth noting that only users who are in beta and can get the facility, they can see the details, while others will not be able to see it until then. Unless the feature is available, the stable version of the application is available.



Currently, the group description feature is seen on the testing phase on Android and in the Windows beta versions of the app. If there is no feature on the iOS device, then there is no word either. However, looking at the track record of the messaging app, it is likely that WhatsApp will also bring convenience to iOS, but users may have to wait for some more time.
