The Oscars will be announced on March 4, but before that we are going to tell you about a record which you will not believe. There is always a competitive ambience between India and Pakistan.

Although India is ahead in many cases, Pakistan's record is better than India in Oscars. If not sure how to read in the slides ahead.

Pakistan is ahead of India in winning Oscars Documentary Films Awards. In the personal category for best documentary, Pakistan has so far won two awards, whereas India's account is empty.

Indeed, Pakistani journalist and filmmaker, Sharmin Obaid Chinoy, has made both of his Oscar nominations. Sharmeen Obaid is the first Pakistani citizen to win the Oscars.

Pakistani filmmaker, Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy, got the first award in 2011. This was also Pakistan's first award. Sharmin Obaid won this award for 'saving face'.

The theme of the film is on trying to save their face after the acid is thrown on the faces of the girls.

Then in 2016, Sharman won an Oscar for her documentary film 'A Girl in the River: The Price of Unforgiven'. Even though Sharmin has illuminated the name all over the world, his films have fiercely opposed in Pakistan.
