The company has said that it is working on it and now finally it has announced the Facebook app support for the jio.Starting tomorrow i.e. On February 14, Jiophone users will be able to use the Facebook app on their GO feature phone.
The company has created a special edition of the Facebook app that can run on Jio OS. Jio says that this move will open Facebook for potential 50 million feature phone users in India.
The Facebook app can be downloaded from Jiophone on Jiophone by all existing and new Jio users."Jiophone is the cheapest smartphone in the world, specially Transformal Technologies for Indians to migrate from a feature phone to a smartphone.
As promised, Jiophone will be home to the world's largest applications , Which will start with Facebook, is designed to empower each Indian with the power of the data and Jiophone is an integral part of this campaign.

Whatsapp is with Facebook, it has also been told that Jio can be used further with Jiophone and can convert it into Dual SIM phones in the future.Jio is also negotiating with MediaTech to create an Android Go smartphone.
MediaTek is one of the first companies to offer endorsed support to Jio , partnership with Jio can open doors for more cheap entry level smartphones in India.
