Relax JIo is not sponsoring the English Premier League. Neither do the company need to do anything with the 2018 FIFA World Cup, oddly, Reliance Jio has decided to give the name of its new offering after millions of people around the world (not games) after the game of lovers - Which is absolutely nothing from telecommunications services.
Offer - Called 'JIo Football Offer' - It has nothing to do with football - but there is a regular old offer that includes 2,200 cashbacks, which is in the form of encouragement to switch to JIo.
Given the recent increase in the popularity of football in the country, there is nothing except a PR practice to name the proposal 'Football offers'. To promote the game in any meaningful way in the country, that is to say no more effort is being done on the part of Joey.
Realistic actor and cricketer in the grand advertisement for the proposal of football (yes, you read right cricket players) compared to actual football players
Case in point - JIo's superb advertisement for ridiculously named football offers has more actor and cricketer than real football players (yes, you read cricket players right). Virat Kohli, John Abraham and Ranbir Kapoor are in the hands of football, they seem to be hollow.
Actually, it is not bad - it is not bad - but nothing is revolutionary. Under this offer, Reliance Jio is offering a quick cashback of Rs 2,200 on purchasing a new 4G smartphone for its customers. This offer is valid only on the handset of selection of specific brands - complete list can be reached here.
This proposal has helped a special brand called jivi which got a 15-minute fame. Their JIvi Energy E3 smartphones can be purchased for a ridiculous low price of Rs 699 (2,200 cashbacks apply) - this probably makes the cheapest 4G capable smartphone in the world.
Smartphone Dated runs on Android 6.0 Marshmalko software, it has only 512 MB of RAM and has an unknown processor. You would be better off buying a Geophone or equivalent feature phone, which would be better for running at least for a long time.
