Google and the National Council of Education Research (NCERT) have made partnerships to make children safe and responsible in the world of Internet.
Students across the country will now be able to learn how to make a responsible citizen on the internet and how to avoid cyber crime? For this, the course will be started in 14 lakh schools across the country.
It will be from April 2018.
Under this scheme, students from class I to class XII will be trained on the Internet, smartly use the Internet and positive thinking in the digital world.
During this time, children will also be given information about the legal aspects of social media.
Google India Trust and Safety Director Sunita Mohanty said on the occasion of Internet Safe Day that she has started several courses for students of different ages, which will be given information about the social, ethical and legal aspects of Internet security.
He further said that the first part of this program will be the focus on small children in which children will be given information about the internet and web world.
For example, children of the lower classes will be given basic digital tools and information about the Basel of the Internet to middle class children.
