With record 51% revenue share, Apple has taken more than half of the global smartphone revenue in the fourth quarter of 2017, a report said.

According to market research firm Strategy Analytics, during the fourth quarter of 2017, the total global smartphone wholesale revenue rose 8% annually to the highest level of $ 120 billion.

"The average wholesale price of the smartphone industry increased by 18% to $ 255 in the fourth quarter of 2016, to $ 300 in the fourth quarter of 2017," Strategy Analytics director Linda Neede said in a statement late Thursday.

Sui said that the giant Samsung of South Korean technology has increased its global smartphone wholesale revenue by 16% annually to $ 19 billion in the fourth quarter of 2017.

Both Apple and Samsung's smartphones have grown 21% in average wholesale price (ASP) quarters to $ 254."The popularity of premium note 8 and the Galaxy S8 model, as well as lesser sales in its core Asia markets, like China, led the development," said Sui.

The company is preparing to launch three new iPhones this year and will be more popular than one of these, said top analyst of Taiwanese trading group KG Securities.

According to Ming-Chi Koo, when the most famous analyst with KGI Securities speaks of Apple, the tech giant aims to sell "100 million units of a 6.1-inch iPhone planned to release this year" .

This 6-inch iPhone will reportedly offer an LCD display and will be similar to the iPhone X, but for Apple consumers, it will estimate a cheaper rate.
