Snapchat redesign could hurt the already ailing social platform.

Snapchat is in a very delicate position right now, it enjoys a fairly large and dedicated user base, and on the other hand it is falling behind the path of Instagram.  

Every move the company needs to calculate carefully now. We have gone for a while that Snap Inc.

 is planning to overhaul its flagship app, and on Wednesday, the company announced that it has now become Snapchat as a social media platform.  

I do not want to go in, but a place where there is room for both social and social media.To be clear, Snapchat Readishon aimed to break the app into two separate categories, on one side, which is personalized with friends and family with chats and stories and on one side for publishers, 

creators and stories of communities. Snapchat said in the blog post, "The new Snapchat separates social from the media."


Isolating social from the mediaThe whole idea behind the redesigned app is to keep your social life uninterrupted from the media. 

The real goal, however, is to make the app more attractive and user-friendly so that it can attract new users. 

 The company has realized that one of the biggest issues with the app is that new users do not understand their way around user interfaces. 

 The new look can be an attempt to separate the lines between social and media, but it can not be enough to bring new users because the company fails to make it clear that the newer form makes the app easier to do How and how toBut none of these is probably as bad for removing publishers and advertisers, which is the ability to do new classification. 

 So far, both friends and the media have mixed up the stories and later gave an incentive to create video or 'stories' for snapchats. But once they go into a separate section once, they can not get the same fashion as before, which means that they can be less motivated to spend money on making the content for the app. This can cause revenue problems for Snapchat because a major source of advertising comes through advertising through media programming.

Rummage outThe redesign comes at a time when Snap is feeling pressured to improve its user base. In the last few months, the company is following its biggest competitor, Instagram.  

The Facebook-owned company is taking the finest features of Snapchat and is adopting it. Take Instagram stories, for example.

 This feature, unopologically stolen from Snapchat, was launched in the first 250 million users of this year, which is more than the total number of snapchats, which is approximately 173 million.The user base of Snapchat is growing at the speed of the snail, compared to its competition, but its financial condition is also more disturbing.

 At the beginning of this month, the company has yet another disappointing quarter earning, with a loss of $ 443 million in Q3.

Platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram have created a firm identity which they are and what they mean to provide. 

 But the snapchat has lost a bit and is trying to find itself once again. It would be interesting to see

 if there has been a substantial change to attract new users and whether the strategy of giving publishers their own place proves to be a beneficial call.
