Kingston DataTraveler 2000 Review ,and all you have to know.

The USB pen drive comes in all shapes and sizes, but there is a lot more that separates them.

Some high capacity or rugged bodies can promise, and others can have many connectors to work with PCs as well as smartphones.

Many really offer some features that others do not. Kingston has identified at least one niche market that daily commodity pen drives are not enough - high security data collection and transportation. If you deal with sensitive information at all times and a portable storage device can not afford to be lost or stolen, encryption is your best bet.

Kingston's DataTavellar 2000 is one of the many models in which Kingston sells hardware hardware encryption, but only with one physical keypad,

which is completely independent of the host system. Look at this one and it will become clear that this is not your ordinary USB drive, but do you really need any of these? We will help you decide.

Kingston Datatyver 2000 DesignIf the buttons in front of electric blue color and datateliver 2000 do not lift your attention, then its giant size will be.

This pen is much higher than the drive standards, which measures 8cm long and 2 cm wide. Thankfully, the body is long and narrow, so it should not block neighboring ports on most PCs.

You get yourself a drive and a removable metal hat that covers the whole body, not the USB connector.

It is a rubber flange which is probably intended to keep the fluid from damage to the electronics of the device,

it evaluates IP57 for water and dust resistance, although surprisingly Kingston does not tell it anywhere on the packaging. Both cap and drive are metal, although the drive ends in a rubber that seems like it will finally peel.

Closing the cap is a bit of a conflict because the seal is really tight, you have to hook a finger in the metal ring at the end of the drive, so we would advise to stop it.

We usually do not like removable caps because they are very easy to lose, but it should not be a problem in giving shape and eye-catching color.
